Royal Pop.

The Royal Pop ships as a pocket watch and was designed to be worn as one. Period-correct accessories are Albert chains (single or double), T-bar fobs, and lanyards. Stainless steel is the safest match for the Bioceramic; gold-tone reads loud against the louder colorways (red, orange, yellow). For waistcoat wear, the double-Albert with a fob is unbeatable. Not directly. The MoonSwatch uses fixed lug pins; the Royal Pop uses a clip-frame system. They share Bioceramic DNA but the attachment mechanism is different. A few aftermarket makers (Crafter Blue, Barton, Helvetus) are expected to release Royal Pop-specific conversion frames in the weeks after launch.

Most early aftermarket conversion frames expose a 20mm or 22mm spring-bar interface on the wrist side. The watch head itself has no lug width — that's a property of the frame you choose.

Yes — that's how it ships. The factory frame includes a non-removable calfskin lanyard. Aftermarket Albert chains, fobs, and pocket-watch-style lanyards work too: they attach to the frame's lanyard loop, not the watch head.

Yes. Swatch's accessories range includes alternate Bioceramic clip frames in matching and contrasting colorways, plus replacement lanyards, at around $45 each. This is the OEM option. Aftermarket conversion frames typically come in at $20–60 and offer wrist functionality the OEM frames don't.

The watch head lifts out with firm finger pressure — no tools required. Press from the back of the frame, and the case pops forward. Re-installing is a snap-in. Practice the move a few times before swapping to an aftermarket frame.

Yes. The watch head can be lifted out of its factory clip frame and re-installed into an aftermarket conversion frame that has a wrist strap. Most owners do this within the first day. The 40mm case wears comfortably on most adult wrists once mounted.

Swatch rates the Royal Pop at 2 ATM (20 metres) — splash and rain resistant only, not for swimming. If you're going near a pool or beach, swap to an FKM rubber strap on a sealed frame and avoid full immersion.
